Soap Nuts Detergent: How To Use for Washing and Cleaning

Madisva Soap Nuts gives you all organic machine wash detergent and household cleaning solution that requires no added ingredients or chemicals.

Madisva Soap nuts (soapberries) are 100% chemical-free and hypoallergenic, which is ideal to use for babies and those who have, irritants, psoriasis, eczema, and other skin allergies.

These Soapberry fruits are harvested from a soapberry tree (Sapindus mukorrosi). They are similar to a lychee nut, yet they're not grown for consumption. With a high concentration of foaming "saponin," soap nuts are used throughout the world as cleaning agents.

*Although not dangerous to your health, do not consume them as it may cause stomach aches.

Money Saver:

Soap Nuts are Ecological and Economical when compared to other forms of detergents. 1kg of soapnuts shells can be used for up to 365 loads of laundry - if you do 1 load a day you are looking at $0.12 per load.

Laundry Cabinet Space:

Your toxic laundry detergent is not only unhealthy, but it can also diminish your laundry room cabinet space. Soap nuts are a small and effective solution that will give you room to store other laundry items without compromising your space.

How To Use Soap Nuts In Solid Form:

Laundry:  To do a load of laundry with Soap Nuts as your washer detergent, simply put 3-6 soap nuts in the supplied washer drawstring bag and then toss into your washing machine. Run your washer through all cycles including rinse and spin dry.

The average cost of a load of laundry is $1.27. At this cost, if you do one load per week, doing laundry costs $66.04 per year. If you do four loads per week, doing laundry costs $264.16+ per year for a single person with families exceeding $400+ per year.

Do NOT use fabric softeners or dryer sheets. Soap Nuts are natural fabric softeners and have anti-static properties.

Dish Washer:

Place 5-6 Soap Nuts into the washbag and secure it to the cutlery holder. You may add vinegar to the rinse aid dispenser for sparkling clean glasses.

Clean Fruits:

Soak your fruit and vegetables for approximately 10 minutes in the Soap Nuts liquid. Rinse off and enjoy this food free from harmful chemicals and residue. The Soap Nuts solution can then be reused for household cleaning. For the liquid available through our shop, we recommend diluting with a ratio of 20 parts water and 1 part liquid.

How To Use Soap Nuts In Powder or Liquid Form:

Home Cleaning: Grind the soap nuts into a powder or make a liquid soap.
